Wooden Dwellings and Watermills above falls
Slunj, Croatia
The settlement consists of mills and dwellings built on small islands between the watercourses. Small millponds result from the dams that power the watermills. The buildings are constructed of a combination of masonry and wood with clay-tiled roofs, many modernized over time.
